Learn from the best to be the best ... that's our philosophy
International Hockey School was created to contribute to the development of Ice Hockey in Italy, and to put our young players in contact with international coaches. Our main goal is to provide high-level training and superior quality service at the lowest possible cost. To do this every year we turn to some important international ice hockey schools or teams who will send their best coaches to each camp to teach hockey from another point of view. At the same time at each camp we field our coaches who come from real experiences on the field at the highest levels of both national and international play, some of them still active and some now dedicated only to teaching, such as Ingemar Gruber of HC Merano or Roland Hofer who, besides being one of the best players we have in Italy, has been in the ranks of the Fassa Falcons since this year and is a member of our national team. We want anyone who participates in one of our camps to experience the experience not only as a week of intensive training but as a constructive and unforgettable experience!
We dedicate our time to studying how to provide high standing training to all participants in our camps, we start collaboration months before by studying the training programs according to the standard practiced in the country of origin from which the team of coaches comes, let them be they guide the training, this is because we believe it is essential that our children know and acquire new training techniques that are different and improve for their condition. To achieve this we need real professionals, every year we invest heavily in equipment and in agreements with the best hockey schools in Canada, Russia, Czech Republic, Belarus, USA and Kazakhstan, etc. Their experience unites our teaching staff. both on-ice and off-ice make our camps unique. Champions are not born but become one with training and passion.
The coaches of our Staff are ex-professionals now dedicated to teaching such as our Head coach Ingemar Gruber who stopped playing the role of player this year ending his career with HC MERANO to start this new path as a coach. He and his staff will always be present on the ice to help the coaches we hire every year, they will pass on to the players who come to our camps what they have acquired through years of experience and hard training. The players in the powerskating sessions will learn the fundamental movements for a perfect skating, they will repeat them until they reach perfection, they will perform them both in speed and under pressure, they will learn and perform movements in most cases unknown to them, with the same commitment they will learn to confront one or more opponents in the attack or defense phase to relate to other boys in a sporty and disciplined environment. The control of the edges of the skate, balance, agility, accelerations, explosiveness, the ability to manage the puck and the sense of hockey and the team are the focal points of our fields. Our goal is to make all participants in our camp players more efficient, effective and more useful to their teams.
The entire training process includes every aspect of a sportsman's life, starting from 2021 in our camps, in addition to the two daily ice sessions, we have included the "Vinyasa" Yoga classes, a style characterized by a deep coordination between movement and breathing. , with energetic movements that allow you to acquire strength, flexibility and agility, endowing the muscle groups with symmetry and resistance. The lessons will take place in the morning and will be repeated for post-training, (our teacher will then be available to parents who want to practice) the boys will then follow our athletic trainer in Off-Ice training with programs designed specifically for Hockey, they will follow Video analysis sessions of professionals and their mistakes in training, a few hours of English with Elisa who never hurts and a theory session on the rules and referee signals, these unknown to most of the players, with our referee Leandro who will referee then Sunday matches. And in her free time, our Pamela will wear out those who will still have energy to spend.
Our goal is to make all the participants in our camp players more efficient, effective and more useful to their teams, so every year we choose the best international schools to collaborate with. Their experience combined with our staff of teachers both on-ice and off-ice make our camps unique. Champions are not born but become one with training and passion.
